I've been going there my entire life - it'll be weird when a new stadium is built there. As much as I love the history, the new stadium really does look amazing - can't wait to see it live. Guess I need to finally get that Yankee Stadium Monument Park tour before the entire place comes down...

Sorry to sort of hijack the thread but it is about the stadium. I am going to a Yanks game in August and was wondering if it was a bad idea to wear a Red Sox hat or the opposing teams hat. I've heard some say that its fine to wear it as people just joke around with you but others have been hit with batteries, water bottles and other things while wearing the opposing teams hat.
