Why was he taken out of the game? Injury or rest or because they are losing 6-2?

After the Hardy HR, Capps hit Fielder with a high pitch almost to his head and got ejected.......It was a wise move from Tracy to take Bay out at this point.

I didn't see the game but based on box score it looks like manger used his spot for a double switch.

Bay struck out to end Pitt's 7th. Capps entered in relief in the bottom half, with Nady getting inserted in the pitcher's spot as the new left-fielder.
