Fantasy playoffs

Postby Shem » Mon Feb 24, 2003 8:51 pm

I am looking for some feedback on having a fantasy playoffs during the last 2 weeks of the MLB season. It is my 1st year playing in a roto head to head playoff format? Does anyone have any thoughts from experience with the playoffs in the last 2 weeks?

Aside from players resting and Mgr's trying to set up a playoff rotation.

Thanks,

Cris

I've done one before and I can tell you that if your league has playoffs to determine the winner, the winner will often not be the best manager since players have to get hot at the right times to win in the playoffs. That said, something you CAN change is your roster. Make some moves to acquire players on teams that are still in good battles in baseball. Last year I had several Twins and they served very well for the first half, but then the lead over their rivals just got too big and they shut down until the playoffs so my second half Twins were really brutal.
