God Johnny D just needs to rest for a week or something. He's got like 10 injuries going on and every time he sits out for a game or two to heal one of them, a new one comes up or he aggravates an old one

NEW YORK - It didn't look good the way Johnny Damon was limping out of the box.
The Yankees' center fielder felt something in his right calf during his swing when he popped to first with one out and the bases loaded in the last of the ninth last night at Yankee Stadium.
"He just got a little cramp," manager Joe Torre said after the Yankees' 15-11 loss to the Mariners. "He seems to be OK. We'll check again tomorrow. In the dugout, he said that he was OK."
Damon had a problem with what was said to be cramps in both calves on Opening Day, and he missed the next two games with a mild strain in the right calf. He said he hoped to play today against Seattle.
he did this last year too. Would be hurt, I wouldn't play him, then he go 2-3 DT, 3 runs scored, and a sb. He is very productive. I just traded henry owens for him. waiver wire pickup for damon.
