If Elijah Dukes?

Keeps hitting in the 2 spot between Rocco and Crawford, how much value do think he will have. If the Tampa line up stays like this what do think his final numbers could be.

I do not expect the Tampa lineup to stay like this. Eventually Upton will work his way into the leadoff spot with Baldelli or maybe Dukes hitting 2nd.

As far as Dukes though, he has 20/20 ability right now and in the future he has the power to hit 30+. I think he could flourish in the 5th spot behind Delmon when that time comes.

Is he an everyday player now? Sorry if it sounds like a easy question, but I dont follow the DRays

Actually, I'm not sure that he has been or will be an everyday player, and that is the certainly key for his value. Before Rocco pulled his hammy Dukes platooned in the OF and Upton would occasionally DH. Upton's record pace for errors could well impact Dukes pt all year once (if) Baldelli is healthy enough to play CF again.

I love the potential Dukes brings and he certainly seems to be coming on lately.

Yeah, not sure he will get to play much OF when Baldelli gets healthy enough to play CF. Crawford and DYoung have the other spots locked down(I think). And when Iwamura comes back I guess Dukes will be fighting for DH time with Gomes, Pena, Upton, Cantu. At least thats what it looks like to me.

Due to Rocco's propensity for injury, Madden will probably establish a platoon in CF, with Rocco and Elijah alternating in and out of the DH slot. Both players provide superb defensive options. (JMHO).

It looks like Elijah is adjusting to major league pitching.

Delmon will probably get his share of days off hitting like he has.
