In the short time I have watched David Wright in the 2-hole, it seems like he is constantly swinging at the first pitch (which may or may not be good) ... as a Reyes owner, it can frustrate me when Reyes is on first and doesn't get a chance to steal. Paul Lo Duca would take numerous pitches to give Reyes multiple chances to pick his pitch.
As a Mets fan, if this lineup keeps the wins coming, then roll with it (after all, Wright is finally going yard and making good contact). But from a fantasy perspective: do you think this current lineup will ultimately trim down Reyes' total steals?

Not a chance. Wright, believe it or not, is actually a patient hitter. Too patient sometimes and I want to kill him but that was April and this is May and Willie seems to enjoy putting different players up in the 2-hole from time to time but for the most part it will be LoDuca so even if there were cause for concern for Wright being up there when Duke is off it isn't many games that should effect Reyes.
