What's more egregious here, the Brady slurping, the ignorance in the computation of NFL compensation, or the dishonesty?

INDIANAPOLIS -- Peyton Manning has agreed to restructure his contract with the Indianapolis Colts to save the team $8.2 million in salary cap space.

The deal was first reported by ESPN.com's John Clayton.

The Super Bowl MVP was to receive a $10 million roster bonus during the offseason but by converting the money into a regular signing bonus, the Colts can prorate that amount over the remaining four years of his deal. That saves Indianapolis space under the cap, which is $109 million.

Link from February

That's a champion making an active decision to help his team.
Let's go O's. Let's go Mets.

It's nice to see that everyone isn't in it for the money. Didn't Chipper do something with contract to try to keep Furcal?

Restructured or not, they're still getting their money. Did anyone actually take a pay CUT to help their team?

I still think it's impressive. Remember, NFL salaries are not set in stone. You can be cut at any time.

With this in mind, Brady's move was pretty impressive.

Lets get back to baseball guys...their was really no point to this thread
