you claim to be a Simpsons fan yet this is the second reference that has gone completely over your head. this is getting inexcusable Cu

Yes, I am a reformed comic nerd.

is that out already? i still havent read issue #3 yet (stupid new dog taking up my time) and i always forget when it comes out. i have it reserved at a local comic shop and everytime i go in the creepy owner guy is always trying to get me to get some other comics. i guess they hold it for 2 weeks and then after that charge a quarter a week (ooooo....would be tough if i was five). the best was when i went there looking for issue #1 and they looked at me like i was crazy for not reserving it 9 months ago so i just ordered it off E-bay
Dark Tower rules! apparently the Movie/Miniseries/some sort of film adaptation is gaining steam because IMDB now lists it for release in 2010 but you have to be a Pro memmber to view it. last i hear JJ Abhrams of Lost fame optioned the rights from Stephen King for 19 cents or dollars or something
Hugh Laurie for Roland

I'm trying to catch up with the Simpsons! My stupid local station only plays newer episodes as re-runs... although I saw a great one last night where Homer gets obsessed with the rapture after seeing "Left Below."
I am a Dark Tower fan, but I've only finished book 5. I was disappointed with it, so I haven't moved onto 6 yet. I read The Gunslinger 10 years ago though.
