as a yankees fan i liked him now i wonder is he a help for the mets...

He will probably split time with Cedeno in right....but he is a quality upgrade over Timo Perez.... :-)

After splitting time with Shane Spencer in left, he was placed on the 15-day DL. Now that the Mets have aquired Hidalgo from the Astros, I don't see him getting very much playing time....
