Here are some of the hitters who are ranked in the Yahoo top 50 or higher. Who is the biggest shock so far?

I voted for him to, might seem like a homer but the guy has not only been hitting good, he is showing good patience at the plate

I'm one of hte Kinsler votes. I didn't see him doing this at all.

I have Russell Martin, Francoeur and Matthews, Jr. on a team, and was roundly criticized for each pick. As of this moment, they're leaving me alone about these picks.

Frenchy in particular I thought had great potential this year. I was hoping he'd learn some plate discipline in the offseason and apparently he has, and he tweaked his stance a bit, and here he is smacking the ball around the park.

GMJ had a pretty good spring if I recall, and even though he's up and down so far this year, he's way more up than down overall.

Martin hitting in that lineup, if they were at all like they were last year, made him attractive to me. If you don't have a Mauer or a VMart available to you, you might as well pick up a catcher who's in a lineup that scores runs so they get dragged along for the ride. That was my philosophy with Martin.
Keep wreves in General Talk in 2011!

Either Kinsler ot Torii Hunter get my vote..

Gets on my nerves when a first year fantasy player is trying to convince me that Hunter is a fantasy stud

I had to go with Aaron Hill. I grabbed him as my last player on a 25-man team in a 14-team league to back up Utley and Furcal in case they went down.

He's definitively benched Rafeal Furcal until further notice.
