watchin my Sox game and it looks like Piazza hurt his shoulder, if anyone gets info on this please post, hes my only catcher and i have no one i want to drop.

Piazza had to leave the game after a play at third to end the top of the sixth. Mike Lowell and Piazza were racing to third on a force play. Piazza would have beat Lowell to the bag, so Lowell cut off the angle and went for the tag. The two collided, and Piazza appeared to have injured his shoulder. He was immediately escored to the locker room.

He looks like he has been doing well, but does he play everday in the OF or at First of the Bucs? If Piazza goes on the DL I might have to grab him

i'm watching the game and no word yet on piazza. the collision was pretty ugly, though, and he looked like he was in quite a bit of pain.

thankfully, the a's have tomorrow off, which gives an extra day to check it out.
