I was wondering if any Cafe-ers have pushed over the 50 year limit in age. Or very close. I am still 9 years away but wonder if there are people who would get references to guys like John Lowenstein, Freddy Patek or Doug DiCinces.

Any Kiko Garcia or Lenny Sakata fans out there?

theclefe...your post reminded me of why I first thought of posting this thread. The thing was i actually forgot the reason a short time ago until you posted.

I once almost referred to an auction draft where I blew a season buying Glenn Davis. $45 down the crapper. And there was my mancrush on Eric Anthony that hurt a team one year. I figured if I threw those anecdotes out there only the old dudes would relate.

I'm 41.

Rounding up the 50+ guys would make for some cool stories. Rick Dempsey during a rain delay. Or watching "The Human Rain Delay." George Brett and Billy Martin.
