I have him in a Dynasty League and it will cost me greatly to drop him. If he were to go on the DL I could just keep him there until next year.

If he isn't DL eligible in on whatever system you are playing now he won't be all year. He was sent down to the minors so there is no chance of him being put on the big league DL unless he is brought back up then hurt again...virtually 0% chance.

Even though he is on their 40 man roster.

He was already designated to the minors so there is no reason to put him on the DL.

He's on the Minor League DL - as he has been from the beginning of the season.

Prior is done. He's so injury riddled now that he will never be a good fantasy option again.

I seriously doubt he'll ever be any good at all anymore. At best he'll be a 4 era sp'er. Honestly, IMO I really don't think he'll ever pitch another season with 10 or more starts.
