Firefox Greasemonkey Scripts

Here are some Greasemonkey scripts I've written to add some features to the Yahoo Fantasy Baseball pages. Greasemonkey is a Firefox Add-on. After you've installed it, you can use Greasemonkey scripts to enhance various web sites.

There are also some Greasemonkey scripts over here that add some features to phpBB boards, particularly this one.


Internet Explorer Scripts/Bookmarklets

Here's a version of the Matchup script which works with Internet Explorer. There are also some other scripts listed here that copy rosters, etc.

Wow, this is very cool. Would I be asking too much for it to display my own players AVG splits vs LHP/RHP? Might help to make benching decisions at a glance. I see there really isnt all the much room left though.

Here's a step by step for IE7:

1. Go to this page:
http://glenncarr.com/yahoofantasy/ClipYahooRoster.htm

2. Right-click on one of the bookmarklets links.

3. Select 'Add to Favorites...' from the menu that pops up. When it says 'Security Alert: You are adding a favorite that may not be safe. Do you want to continue?' select 'Yes'

4. An 'Add a Favorite' dialog box should popup. Set 'Create in' to 'Favorites'. Click 'Add'.

5. Go to your Yahoo roster page in the browser.

6. Click one of the bookmarklets from your Favorites menu and it should do whatever it is supposed to do.

Repeat steps 2-4 for any other bookmarklets you want.

I might add some more stuff in next few days if I find some more time. It won't matter too much if there's more info there, it will just make the height of each row taller.

You may have another security setting that needs to be lowered. I tested this using the Default Level for the Internet Zone which is Medium-high, and then changing the single setting described above.

You might try changing your Internet Zone setting to Medium-high, then changing the above setting to 'Prompt'.

If you don't feel comfortable lowering your browser security settings, then by all means, DON'T.
