Closers in H-2-H Leagues vs. Roto

Postby pizzaboy76 » Mon Feb 24, 2003 7:00 pm

How much would you decrease the value of a RP in a H-2-H league vs. Roto?

I ask this because my pitching staff consists of Hudson, Mulder, Halladay, Wood, Prior, Santana, Fossum, and Williamson(my only RP). I think with the current staff I'm in pretty good shape for W, K, ERA, and WHIP. Is it worth trading a reliable starter for a RP if it will most likely only improve 1 category??

In head to head, it's muct more of a necessity to have at least a couple reliable closers to get you handful of saves every week. In roto, you can use guys like DeJean and Alfonseca to help pile up the saves, but in H2H you really need a couple of reliable guys.
