This isn't really a fantasy comment but I'd like to point out the Milwaukee Brewers now have the best record in all of baseball. I don't feel its a fluke either, the combination of talent they have especially in the starting rotation and how weak the division is makes me think they will be a 90+ win team.
Didn't you get the memo? Today is National Brewers day. Frontpage news this afternoon on Sportsline. Lead story in MLB section of ESPN. Lead story (sort of) in Heyman's daily scoop, which was the lead on CNNSI baseball section.
I think I read this on BP, but it bears repeating, plenty of seats left on the Brewer bandwagon.
I was looking at some stats this afternoon, and the brewers staff leads (or are in top 3 I believe) the NL in p/pa. That to me ssays the staff will wear down. Doesn't matter all that much though, because teh bullpen is lights out.
Over/under to start the season was 81.5 btw.

The stench of the Selig regime is finnaly wearing off the Brewers franchise. They have an outstanding core of young players: Fielder, Weeks, Hardy, Hall, Hart. The best rotation in the NL central (i guess that's not really saying much, but still...) with Sheets, Capuano, Suppan, Bush and Vargas. An overpowering 8/9 inning combo in Turnbow/Cordero. Additional offensive and pitching weapons in the minors if they need them: Bruan and Gallardo. And an owner who has recently said that if the Brewers feel as they they need an other player or two to push them over the hump, the money is there for them.
I know it's only the first week of May, but us Brewer fans really haven't had much to get excited about the past couple of decades.
