**RUMOR** NYY Fans saying Hughes has TORN ACL

Moderator: Baseball Moderators

Torn ACL is a pretty crucial injury if it was on his push off leg. Anyway I figured it was a hammy pull since I was watching the game.

Where did you hear the ACL thingy from? I don't doubt you, but just wondering which NYY fan would spread such a rumor! ;-)

Hughes is the future! According to John Sterling and Susan...

It was actually a Mets fan that started a thread titled "Hughs Tears ACL" on the Yankees board just to be an ass.

BLASPHEMER!

Although I said the same thing to a close friend who is a diehard NY fan today... :-/

I don't think too many yanks fans felt sorry for the Sox last year though, so let's not get too carried away wit the sympathy pains.

The people that feel sorry now won't be feeling sorry as soon as the Yanks get healthy and climb back up in the standings. ;-D

Don't think I can ever feel sorry for a team that's earned the name "The Evil Empire"

Don't know why you guys are so high on Hughes? He just had 2 starts, 1 ordinary and 1 very good... and it was against the lowly Rnagers.
