Brian Mccann just got thwacked but good with the bat on the hand. Knocked his glove off. He tried to stay in, but after two passed balls, Bobby Cox pulled him.

This does not sound good... I already have Pedro in my DL spot and Thome and Kendrick on my bench... Now I have to use another valuable bench spot on McCann? Great.

...anyone with McCann as their everyday catcher may want to look for a back up...
He took a bat to the hand...stayed in the game...then went to the bench...so I hope it's not broken...

Okay, here's the latest from the telecast:
Bruised ring finger on his left hand. Same finger he injured when he was hit by a pitch over the weekend.
