He`s a minor cog in my machine---but a cog nonetheless. I see Werth in there instead of him tonight. I know the Phils wanna take advantage of Rowands hot bat---so he`s batting 2nd.

But he's a switch hitter. I'm hearing they want to limit his ABs to about 450-500 this season. Right now he's on pace for 600. Manuel doesn't want to wear him down.

What does it really mean? I tend to think they want to see what Werth has because they're looking to deal either Rowand, Victorino... or the Phils are showcasing Werth.

and he's .219 against lefties this year. Werth is .400. Either way, it's not an injury.

I have him as an injury replacement. He was going well with the steals and BA. I was looking for a spot for him----but now, I dunno................
