About a month ago the Dan Patrick Show had Brian Cashman on. They asked him what the strangest deal was he ever made? Cashman recalled a deal he made with Kevin Towers a few years ago where one of the stipulations of the deal was that Cashman had to include a commemerative David Wells beanie baby in the trade. This was made because apparently Towers' wife is an avid beanie collector.
Maybe that's why the Kendall deal is really falling through. Pittsburgh won't include a Willie Stargell beanie!!!

Do they even make beanies anymore? I remember when the used to have those promotions at the stadium, People would line up for hours a head of time, but a ticket, grab their beanie and leave. Never even watch the game.... It was hilarious ...
