He has to be tipping his pitches or he can't throw anything but his fastball for a strike.

What do you guys think of trying to buy low on him? For owners who think this is a start of a decline from this hot start... I personally think this is just a hiccup.

I agree. I just offered Haren for him in my keeper. I doubt that will get him but it's worth a try.

Maybe the walks and the lack of Ks were becoming an issue so he was told to throw more strikes? I didn't watch the game but he was just grooving fastballs up in the zone. His stuff is still nasty and we know what he is capable of when corrected so I would bet that he is just in a slump.

He might be tipping his pitches, but this start wasn't as bad as it looked. Actually, he was lucky to give up only 4 since he gave up a ton of hits, but his control wasn't awful and he threw some very good curves and changes.

He's still been very lucky to not have over a 4 ERA on the year, funny thing is last night was probably his second best start all year but since he was so lucky early in the year it looks like he pitched poorly.

Yeah, something isn't quite right.....lucky or not he's never given up 18 hits in 2 games like he has his last two.

I will also try to buy low on him.
