Carlos Gomez to be called up?

The New York Daily News is reporting that Carlos Gomez could be called up from Triple-A New Orleans if Moises Alou needs to go on the disabled list.

Gomez is extremely fast and would be worth taking a chance on in deep NL-only leagues if the Mets bring him up. He is hitting .301 with 13 stolen bases this season for New Orleans.

Edit: Nevermind, just found out Lastings is injured and will miss 4-6 weeks

he has a sprained foot and will be out 4-6 weeks. he was tearing up AAA with around a .333 BA so he was doing well before he got injured. he would of been called up before Gomez if not for the injury.
