I've got a trade involving Pedro all lined up and need to pull the trigger very soon. I'm hearing he's disgruntled over how Bost is handling his contract, but from way out here it's tough to get a handle on how POed he is and if it'll affect his perfomance. I'm trading because I have too many keepers and basically the trade breaks down like this. I'd be replacing Washburn Green (Colon or Gagne or Larry Walker) from my keeper corps with Pedro Chipper and either Gagne or Walker (2 guys on my cutdown bubble). Should I do this trade? It's Pedro/Chipper for Green/Washburn/Colon (remebering that I likely won't keep both SP if I dont deal--no room on keeper roster) Is Pedro's contract frustration enough to keep me from accepting? Thanks!

If you'd accept the deal if there were no Pedro contract discussions, then accept it with them. If it affects Pedro at all, it'll only want to make him even better to show up Sox management for their stupidity.

I wouldnt worry about Pedro being affected with contract disscusions. He is a proffesional and an easy top three pitcher.
I know the future!!!!!!!
