This season? The show's been dull since Big Pussy died.

OK, I take that back... the Joe Pantoliano and Steve Buschemi seasons were pretty good, but I feel like it's gotten progressively worse since the second season... and what can ya expect? Nothing tops the Pine Barrens episode anyway. I haven't watched this season since I've gotten tired of the 2 - 3 year hiatus between seasons.

I'd like to watch the series from the start and work my way back up. But I miss the Tony who would staple a guy in the chest who owes him money.

Haven't seen this week's episode yet, but the other episodes of this season sucked. The Sapranos have been lapped by the Wire and Rome IMO.

it's been OK at best, they're having too many stories with minor characters...hopefully the last few will be good

the Tony/Carm argument was pretty good this week though

I watch because I've followed it for this long that I want to see how it ends.

If I had to rank my favorite HBO shows of all time, it'd probably go:

Mr. Show
Kids in the Hall
Carnivale
Deadwood
The Sopranos
Inside the NFL (Back in the days of just Len, Nick, and Chris)
Dream On

I never really watched Six Feet Under, Oz, or The Wire. While I'm sure they're good I can't count them.

Agreed. At this point, I've invested too much time not to watch 8 more episodes. In a way, I cant wait til its all over...

The last 2 episodes have been really sharp ;-D

With only 3 episodes left, it should be a bloodbath down the stretch. I got a feeling one of AJ's new friends are going to take him out next ep.
