after yesterday news stories reported that Weeks received a scheduled day off....but he is also out today as well...anyone have any news?

He's got to be hurting because he had a pretty good matchup with Wells (and I don't think the Brewers are trying to get Craig Counsell more ABs). ;-)

Just saw on a Brewers blog (brewcrewball.com) that he's "out for a bit" with a finger injury. Doesn't sound too severe but you never know.

Bruised index finger on his throwing hand. He's said he's ready to play, but i think the Brewers are being cautious to ensure this isn't something that lingers. I'm guessing he plays today.

hey let them be as cautious as they want. i'd rather have him sit out 5 games for a sprained finger then have him play and injure it more turning into a trip to the DL
