I've been hearing Soriano. Cox is a tough manager to predict when it comes to that kind of stuff, last year it drove me nuts trying to chase saves with that team.

Check the closer's thread, there's some discussion on it there, too.

There is a 50+ page thread about closers in the Baseball Leftovers section and I'm sure they are talking about it over there.

My guess would be Soriano just because he is right handed and has done well in tight games this season, I believe he gives up most his runs when the Braves have a decent lead.

Edit: Don't count on Wickman losing his job anytime soon, unless he is injured. He is still the man in ATL.

Does anyone know if Wickman is hurt?

He's looked awful the last few times & Friday didn't he ask to be pulled from the game in the 9th?

He has not said he is injured and the team has made no comment of the sort either.

I think it will be Soriano. He typically comes in in the 8th. Wickman isn't in any immediate danger of losing his job, but his perphs are terrible this year.

I think Wickman needed an oxygen mask when pitching in Colorado.

According to Cox, Wickman is the man and will continue to be so.
