Fantasy Baseball 101--Literally!

Postby TexasStampede » Sun Apr 29, 2007 8:14 pm

Alright so tomorrow I have to give a brief 10 minute lecture on a topic of my choosing for grad school. The purpose is just to get feedback on your teaching style. The other person going is going to talk about the stock market so last night at the bar I thought...why not talk about fantasy baseball!

This is where you guys come in, any specific aspects you think I should be sure to mention? I figured I would define a few terms, the different types of leagues, strategies...etc. ;-D

Lets here some good ideas and Ill use them! :-)

So, you didn't come up w/ a topic until last night at the bar. And as of tonight, you've done absolutely no preparation and are hoping to hoodwink the Cafe into doing it for you.

Good luck.

If you open it up to fantasy sports in general, make sure to talk about which ones are most popular (I know we all love fantasy baseball over here but football, i think we have to admit, is the most popular if you're looking at the entire country). I would also talk about how the different sports are all different, as football is a shorter season, has more of a luck factor, etc. but can be more exciting than baseball, basketball, etc.

Sounds like a fun topic. Good luck ;-D
