Angels - Dumbest Franchise Ever

Postby ChipperJonesFanatic » Sun Apr 29, 2007 7:55 pm

They are sending Brandon Wood back down to the minors. They put this kid in for 2 games, then send him back down? What are they thinking.

Scioscia said the Angels will activate infielder Chone Figgins, who broke two fingers in his right hand during spring training, on Monday. They sent third baseman Brandon Wood to Triple-A Salt Lake after the game

If they make John Lackey a middle reliever and trade Vlad to the Yanks for low-level prospects, then they begin to approach the stupidity of the Phillies organization.

Figgins > Wood

It's not a dumb move at all.

He still needs to work on his plate discipline. Cut down on those K's in AAA.

Lincecum, on the other hand, needs to be called up ASAP.

I agree, he'll need another season in the minors before he's fully ready. Now I have to wait on him in my dynasty league, but I'm fine with that. He isn't ready to contribute to fantasy teams IMO.

this was expected.

Wood needs to play every day. He couldn't do that with the Angels once Figgins came back.

Wood probably should not have been called up anyway. I am not a fan of Stoneman.

There was no intention for him to stay up in the bigs.
