Nice, I just re-picked him up yesterday. I had him before, but let him go. If he keeps rolling like this today, he has to get the call soon.

My guess is that they will call him up after today's start.

It just doesn't make sense to leave him in AAA. He belongs with the big club.

I don't see how they could not call him up... I would think at most he'd have two more starts like this before it became pretty much mandatory to do so.

If they do it now though, would they give Russ Ortiz bullpen/spot start duty or would they throw Lincecum into the pen right away? I've been seeing more & more comments from Sabean to indicate that they're leaning towards calling him up, but usually when a GM or front office person says something, then the exact opposite happens.

I sure hope he gets the call after this game.
