can anyone tell me if lieber is healthy and opinions on what to expect this year

Supposedly healthy. Will be the Yanks 5th if he remains so. As to what to expect, impossible to guess. All depends on how well/fast he recovers from the surgery wrt the quality of his stuff. Could be very good, could be worthless. Will no mor ein Spring Training, which I know does not help if you are drafting now.

Really tough call coming off the surgery. I wouldn't want to bank on him, but he still could be serviceable. I probably wouldn't risk it though.

I agree and he will probably go undrafted in average leagues so u could possibably pick him up in free agent pool.

he's got to be good for 14 wins and a low 4 era. Don't count on him for many strikeouts though.

A late round flier or possible free-agent pickup is where I see him as of right now.

Didn't he win 20 2 years ago for a terrible Cubs team? I think that he's better then he's ever been given credit for. I'm with Trevisc on this one. I think that Lieber is coming back in a big way.

I won't draft him, but I will be watching him closely. Any sign of quality, and I would take a flier on him right away.

I have him penciled in on my draft sheets and may very well take a chance with him on my last pick if he is still there.

he has a chance to be ok, i will stay clear for him as of now, but I also may grab em late.
