I have heard a lot of people say that. But, honestly I like it better with him. I think he allows you to split Wood/Prior and go with Prior, Maddux, Wood, Clement, Zambrano. Thus breaking up the power pitchers a bit. More than if you throw Mitre or Cruz in the mix.
I look forward to all the meetings between the two teams this year. I think the bullpens matchup well also. Hawkins was a huge signing in the Cubs favor to me. But Lidge/Dotel are an awesome combo. But Farnsworth, Remlinger, Hawkins and Borowski look better than their pen to me.
What I think the Clemens move does is force Jockety's hand a little and I look for the Cards to make the last push for Maddux.
I guess that I would have to agree. Obviously, Prior is the best of the bunch. I like the depth of the Astros better, though. Both have a very nice rotation.
I'd like my Rangers to have either one of those rotations.
I'd take the Cubs if I had to choose though.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
