These two guys are projected available at my draft slot in round 2. Which would be the better pick?

Mags, no question. Unless your league has stats like "got dumped by Mariah Carey" or "Is paid approximately 1 million dollars per home run last year."

Maggs is definitely the better player and my pick.
Just keep in mind that outfield is a much deeper position than shortstop.
However, Jeter is probably not worthy of a 2nd round pick

I still would take Magglio over Tejada. His production is terrific! You might even get lucky and have Jeter available in the 3rd!

I would go with Tejada. He could put up better numbers than his MVP year last year.

keep in mind that tejada is the 2nd best shortstop and there are other outfielders that can put up really good numbers
