OMG! He hit a baseball!!! OMFG!!!!
but look how far it went and look at the situation, so much awesome. i could try to convert it to football speak for you but that seems like a lot of work, so just go back to the football cafe where you can understand what's going on around you.
Yes because the complex game of baseball is just too difficult to understand. No need to patronize me, I get that he hit the ball very hard and it went a long way. And I get that the Cards were down 2 runs in the 5th with 2 outs and that was a huge 3 run shot to put them ahead and give them the 5-4 win over the Astros. And I even get that it was an elimination game in the 1995 NLCS and that shot kept the Card's hopes alive for back to back pennants....they'd have been the first team to do so in 9 years btw. However that shot just prolonged the inevitable and the St. Louis did end up losing the series to Houston. Boo-hoo for them.
Just because I don't jabber on about the game or watch it all the time doesn't mean I don't understand it. I played Little League ball like most all preteen boys do in America, and I've watched my fair share of baseball...hell I was probably watching baseball when you were still sucking your thumb and crapping in you Huggies.
Don't confuse my enjoying football more as a lack of knowledge in baseball.
