The more I watch the video, the more it looks like they were exploiting the poor guy in the blue shirt. I feel bad for him now.
The funny thing is, despite this, he's still probably the better of the two.
I've actually competed in a few legitimate battles before, legitimate being that they were actually organized and had a purse, and weren't like, four guys at a party, or something, though I've certainly done plenty of that as well. Everyone thinks they'd be able to do it, but to do it well is really, really difficult. 99/100 people would completely freeze up once they were on in front of a crowd, and even half of people who think they're "rappers" would sound like those guys or worse. The first time I did it in front of a crowd remains one of the most nerve-wracking things I've ever done.
