royals are no pushover with berroa, sweeney, beltran, and juangon. id go with beckett....he just has much better pitches than santana, ive always been a fan of a curve over a slider and therein lies the difference between santana and beckett.
not sure, but i think these are the best 3 "sleeper" sp's right now (if you can call them that)
thats pretty funny.....i have all 3 in my keeper and when discussing trades i say i rank them santana beckett webb. goes to show they are all pretty even and damn good all 3 of them
I say Santana first, Webb second, and Beckett 3rd.
Sure Josh had a great post-season, but don't overlook the lefthanded Pedro (Santana) and Brandon Webb, who some say has the best sinker in baseball. With more run support, Webb should be great like last year but with more wins. Santana won't have as many wins but probably more K's.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
I'd go with Beckett over Santana. I just think he's got a higher ceiling.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I wouldn't call Santana a sleeper. He busted way out last year. If Twins' management doesn't do something stupid as they did the entire first half of last year, then he's my guy out of the three.
