Beckett or Santana

Postby bill1511 » Mon Jan 12, 2004 10:50 pm

I'm liking Santana more and more as I see his numbers, but Beckett when healthy is nasty.

I like Santana more. Beckett had a great postseason and that has raised his value greatly in most peoples opinion. There is not alot of diffrance between the 2 right now but in the long run I believe that Santana will be better.

Santana should be better than beckett and you could probably get santana in round 10 and beyond and beckett will probably go in round 10 or below because of the world series hype.

I prefer Beckett. Both have questions. Santana as he has never started for a whole season. Beckett because he has trouble staying healthy. I have to go with the more proven Beckett.

I like Santana better, too.

I used to think 10th round or so for Santana but after all the talk at the cafe I have to move him up a couple rounds. I don't think he's going to slip in many drafts.

Santana has escaped no ones attention from what I have seen. Went round 5 in my current draft...Beckett went round 4.

Santana should not last past round 6 in most drafts.

Both are similar, will get more than a strikeout per inning. I'd take Santana, he'll pitch all those games against the Tigers, Indians, Royals. Weaker division. ;-D
