I would not be surprised if the Angels' management has not promised eachother that Figgins will start the season either in their minor league system or on another team.

If he stays with the Angels he goes from a dark horse fantasy guy to a virtually worthless fantasy guy, unless a starting Angel OF'er gets injured.
