I know he started slow last year, but this is getting old quick.
My questions is, is anyone out there benching him until he starts hitting?? His .087 BA this week is absolutely killing my team. I believe that he will have good numbers by the end of the year but how long can we afford to keep him in the lineup?

I think you should drop him. No question about it.

Great response there.....This had nothing to dropping him or not. Just trying to gauge what everyones thoughts on him were. I havent had a chance to see him have many AB's ths year and figured some people wold have some thoughtful insight. Instead you reply with a worthless post. Thanks again.

As a red sox fand and Manny owner i am worried. I am know he will eventually turn it around, but there has to be some concern until he actually starts to hit.

I would be slightly worried. All though he always seems apathetic when playing, he usually gets upset when he swings threw/foul tips a pitch he should drive for a homerun. I just haven't really seen that this year. On a positive note, he probably leads the league in warning track outs. He's just missed about 3-4 HRs if not more. When it warms up, I expect Manny to start producing. I don't know if he'll warrant a high second round pick though.
