Any update why weaver left after 5.2 and a strikeout? he had a 5 hitter going? I know they didn't want a new pitcher in against scary Mackoviak

Id imagine its because he just came back from dealing with Elbow Bursitis..... they dont want him going too deep

Doubt it was anything other than the pitch count. You don't want a young arm throwing a 115-pitch game so close to returning from an injury.
