who to take

Postby bill1511 » Mon Jan 12, 2004 6:48 pm

standard 5x5, h2h.

So far I have Pujols, Schilling, Giambi, Wood, Smoltz, RJ, and Abreu.

Available are: Blalock, Glaus, A.Boone, D. Lee, J. Santana, Percival, Hoffman, J. Edmonds, L Walker, Vidro, M.Giles, Castillo?

I'm thinking Edmonds or Blalock.

Giles. He'll out-value Blalock and plays at a thin position. Don't let these Blalock fan club (aka: the Cafe) talk you into drafting him.

No need at this point to go for the (over)kill in pitching, given you already have Wood, Schilling, and the Unit. I think the clear choices are either Glaus or Giles, given your situation. And put me in the Giles fan club......he should have a great year at a thin position, and will help across the board.....just my opinion...
