Last night it was clear to me that Owens was the closer. They brought in Gregg in the 7th and Tankersley in the 8th. If they had held the lead, you'd have to assume Owens would have been in for the 9th.

I think given that Tank was used in the 8th (and was ineffective) that he isn't really in the picture, at least right now.

Florida sitation is still tough to put a finger on, because, by my count, there has been a grand total of one, maybe two, save opps since Julio got demoted.

All signs point to Owens right now, and I think his leash is a little longer than most others think. I think Tankersley is safe to drop at this point.
