AJ and CJ?

Postby ScurvyDog » Mon Jan 12, 2004 8:48 pm

OK - I tradd for Hernandez in the offseason because he was cheaper than Johnson (Charles). I have AJ Poerzynski ($7), Charles Johnson ($10) and Ramon Hernandez ($7). I plan to protect Hernandez and AJ. Should I swap out Hernandez for Johnson if Ramoon goes to Pits-Burg?

I wouldn't keep CJ in any format for 10 dollars.
2.00 if I was desparate. Those are some tuff choices. I might toss em all back and see if I could get em cheaper.

i dont see burroughs staying in the leadoff slot. with loretta and kendall having much higher averages, and the potential for burroughs to develop more power, hes far better suited for around 5 or 6 slots. look for kendall to hit second behind loretta, or vice versa. so yes, runs runs runs.

I'd say that Kendall's value goes up. Even more so if he hits leadoff, or in the 2 hole. :-)

and watch Seattle waste money on Jarvis, Wiki, and Hansen. Glad ya took him, cus nobody else wanted them.

The trade was good for Seattle. They didn't want Jeff, and Jeff didn't like Seattle. Had they not traded Jeff, they were going to cut him and eat 15 mil. Now they have their 11 man on staff (Jarvis), a backup bench guy (Hanson), and possibly a back up c in Wiki.
