Ultra competetive roto league - how do I look?

Postby twistedude » Sat Apr 28, 2007 12:12 pm

15 team roto league (redraft) with standard 5x5 scoring categories. This league is very competitive with tons of add/drops and trades. I started off very slow, but I'm now starting to make up some ground and am middle of the pack. How do I look? Where should I try to improve?

In my most recent trade I sent away Valverde for Hideki Matsui, and now my offense appears locked in. Light on closers now, but I hope to pick up some off the WW when there is a switch.

Appreciate your feedback!

I really, really like your offense so stay put there. For pitching, I'm surprised Lincecum is sitting on FA in a 15 team league and if your league doesn't count holds, I'd consider adding him soon before he gets the call. Otherwise, I'd say you're pretty set. Another #2 starter would be nice but see how Shields turns out.

Thanks for the feedback. Lincecum was actually dropped recently. Came off waivers today and I dropped Fernando Cabrera for him ;-D

Any more comments/suggestions regarding my strengths and weaknesses and what I should pursue is much appreciated :-)

i think you need to look at SP a little closer. I like your team , for sure, and having Capps on the bench is a good idea, in case he takes over for Torres. That's what you need to do- Grab those guys who may get the call soon.
