check below for possible lineup spot.
"The News
Hunter Pence was called up and will start in center field for the Astros on Saturday, according to the Associated Press. "We've got to find a way to get the offense going," general manager Tim Purpura said. "We're getting hits, but we're not driving in runs. That's certainly a lot to ask of a young player, but all reports from Round Rock are that he's doing great."

Our View
Pence is a stud prospect who tore the cover off the ball this spring (.571 with four doubles, two triples, two homers, and nine RBI in 19 games) and was hitting .341 with three homers and 19 RBI at Triple-A Round Rock this season. He'll start in place of Chris Burke in center field and, if Purpura's comments are any indication, will bat in a run-producing spot in the order. Fantasy owners in need of an outfielder with upside should think about adding Pence now, before it's too late. "

I watched him play for the first time last night. He is a big dude, tall, not muscular. For a tall guy, he runs like the wind!! He looked very comfortable at the plate and has a good eye. He seemed to bring a lot of energy which Houston can use right now. They had him batting 6th.

I picked him up in a 14-team league that starts 5 OF's so the talent is thin. I am giving him a start this week.

Though I didn't see the game, while monitoring his 1st AB, a K, he worked the pitcher for 12 pitches. To me that transates into good bat control and a good eye.
Anyone who saw him live care to comment?
