Hey, the league will be on CBS, email me (mailto:dab282@yahoo.com) if you are interested. 20 teams, mixed rosters, constitution follows:

Plain and simple, points based head to head, 20 teams, 31 players per roster, plus 2 injured.

DRAFT

Draft will be a standard snake draft. After the first year the order will be based on previous years rankings, points to be the tie breaker, playoff teams will draft in the reverse order of their playoff performance (the worse playoff team will draft 15th and the champion will draft 20th). Draft date will be determined when the league is full and will be determined on a yearly basis.

SCORING

There are 13 scoring categories for pitchers and hitters. All are listed on the league rules page.

WAIVERS/FREE AGENTS/TRADES

Waivers will run everyday, with a waived player being on waivers for 1 day. Free agents can be added or dropped at will, but cannot enter a lineup mid-week. Trades must be approved by the commissioner, and can be vetoed by a majority vote from other owners. If the commissioner feels a trade will damage the competitive level of the league (unless there is reason to believe a lopsided trade is being made with future (keeper) implications) it will be vetoed.

PLAYOFFS

4 Division winners and 4 wild card teams will make the playoffs. The playoffs will be a best vs. worst in every round. Division winners will be ranked 1-4 with wild cards being 5-8. The first round will match 1 vs. 8, 2v7, 3v6, and 4v5. The following rounds will match the highest seed versus the lowest seed, regardless of the previous rounds results. Playoffs will be 4 one week rounds, all in September.

FEES/PRIZES

The annual fee will be $75, it can be paid via paypal or check/money order. It must be paid by the end of the second week of the season or a team will be frozen, if after a month the owner still fails to pay, the team will be sold to a new owner, if no owner is found the commissioner will run the team and all prizes will be adjusted to accomadate the lost fee.

20 teams x 75 = $1500 to disperse.

$120 will go to the hosting site.
$500 to the first place winner.
$250 to the runner-up.
$50 to each of the 4 division champions.
$50 to 6 monthly winners for overall points.
$30 to the overall points winner.
$25 to each of the 4 wild card winners

KEEPERS

We will be keeping a very deep roster. 15 Players will be kept between seasons, making long term implications very important. Who you draft this year will effect your teams future. The number of keepers will be subject to a league discussion once the league is full. After year one, however, the number that is selected will be permanent.

Before the draft, everything is negotiable.
