Can anyone explain to me the logic of batting L. Rodriguez 2nd, rather then Torii (who may I add is the only Twin batting over .300). Wouldn't you rather someone be on base for Cuddyer and Mourneau?

Only thing I can think of is he(Rodriguez) doesn't strike out a lot (even though his avg is low) and doesn't ground into DPs compared to Torii. Torii on the other hand is a good RBI guy for the 3-4-5 guys with more power.

I think I heard last year that Torii doesn't feel comfortable hitting in the 4 hole and Gardy wants the left handed guys hiting 3 and 5. He is not a good fit at #2
