Is my team really that bad?

Postby thechanman12 » Fri Apr 27, 2007 10:19 am

I'm last place in my league by a mile, but I don't really get why because I still think my team looks great on paper. I traded Barry Bonds, Bill Hall, and Nomar for Carlos Zambrano and Rafael Furcal earlier in the season and that looked like a great trade at the time, but now I'm starting to regret it. I also just completed a trade with me giving up Brandon Phillips and Edwin Encarniacon and getting Johjima and Josh Barfield. I didnt have any catchers at the time, and I already have Kendrick at 2b when he comes back so I hope it was a good deal for me. But my team has been in the cellar for like 3 weeks now and I just dont get why because I look at the other 12 teams in the league, and my team looks better than about 8 of them in my opinion. Am I just blinded and is my team really that bad, or are my guys just cold and I'll catch up?

Your team should turn around nicely.

Atkins, Manny, Soriano, Furcal and CZam should all put up much better numbers soon. Might want to trade Sammy if you can get something good in return, I'm not a fan of him this year.

Don't really like your most recent trade, but it's all right. Your team, while not bulletproof, is certainly capable of winning the league (or at least finishing in the top half) if given the chance to stick together.

Ya you're fine just a lot of guys starting slowly. I think the riot should be at 2nd for barfield though.

i don't think you should have made either of those trades, but it's nothing you can't bounce back from, sit tight
