was a heralded prospect a year ago but showed bad command, had cancer now is back...

he's fairing pretty well in the minors so far showing better command then he previously had but its sample size.

Yes he is destined to take over from Tavares (I would guess about 1 month from now). He'll will have some nice run support, and could probably be a nice 5th starter if his control has improved.

I really like him. Future #1 starter imo.

I don't think he has that kind of talent. I saw him pitch against the Braves last year, and I wasn't impressed. He doesn't have the best command, and to be honest, I think he is overrated. He look real hittable to me.

The entire Boston organization has said he is/was untouchable for a reason. He had 1 or 2 bad starts and was pretty good imo. I really think he'll be great. I might be in the minority here but I've been right about a lot of guys other people didn't like.

i know he does have pretty electric stuff... he seems to have very good K/per 9 numbers. and he's a lefty so i think he should have a pretty good cieling if he ever commands it.

I am with you on this Havok. Though i don't think he will be number. I think his ceiling is more like a number two starter, if he can get better control.
