hughes era off to a rough start

I don't really care what his ERA was after his first start. I'm jazzed about his future. As a rule, I never start a great SP prospect in their first game. It usually translates into lots of walks and hits and runs. Kind of like tonight.

I couldn't agree with you more. It was what I expected.

His stuff looked nasty.

He will be a part of that rotation for good by June.

This was written on rotoworld earlier tonight "Hughes struggled with his command early, and though he got better at spotting his fastball as the night went on, he never could get his curveball down. He was still effective enough to be worthy of another start. AL-only leaguers can keep him active when he takes on the Rangers next week. Mixed leaguers should have him reserved."
So he will make another start, against Texas next week.
