#1 - He's very streaky
#2 - Sometimes those streaks end up against outfield walls.
I like him in deep leagues and in NL-only leagues. If you're in a standard mixed league, though, I'm not a big fan. If you're in a H2H league, I'm even less of a fan.
He was a guy I really targeted after his 2004 season, however he never lived up to my expectations. I still like him a lot, and if he ever stays healthy, he has the talent to be a great 3rd fantasy OF. He is capable of .300-25-95-95-20
i think he can be a solid 3rd of, but i think .300/25/25 is the max. i think .280 20 hr 18ish sb is what you could expect from him. a good comparison for him would be eric byrnes, just alittle worse.

Stick "possible" in front of 20/20 and that's why I wound up with him on several teams with a very late pick. No complaints yet.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Just my personal opinion, but I don't see Byrnes's upside as being palpably higher than Rowand's. Rowand is in a potentially sick lineup and has the tools to hit .300 and steal 20 bags. In that lineup, and in that park, there's no reason he can't get to 25 HRs.
If he hit .300 and got 600 ABs, I'd say he'd go 100/100 also.
At any rate, I think he has a better shot to hit .300 than Byrnes.
